Hi friends, I'm Alexandria (she/her)!
I’m your friendly, dog-loving, local Washington elopement photographer who is actually a transplant from Wisconsin (go Badgers!)
Washington is actually such a special place. I've spent the past 8+ years exploring. Every time I head outdoors, I get to experience something really magical and I never know what it will be! And I make it my mission to make sure all my couples get to experience how cool Washington is too.
With over 6 years in the adventure elopement industry, you work with someone who has had the big wedding (and doesn't recommend it for everyone) and has helped countless couples plan smaller, more intimate experiences! I take you out of analysis paralysis and help you formulate an amazing plan!

I'm a local expert.
Nature-based elopements come with their own set of logistics that traditional wedding photographers don't consider - and you might not either. I am a hiker, so I have a wide range of expertise from nuanced details to well-known facts, which allows me to assist you with everything from ideas, locations, light, timelines, permits, marriage licenses, weather, logistics and more! Your place becomes inaccessible? We have a backup plan ready to go, too. And as someone who is a transplant, this is something I've spent years tuning heavily into, a lot more than other photographers will!
I have a directed documentary style.
My balanced posing approach allows you to enjoy your emotions and to experience your memories without feeling performative. While there are points during the day focused on portraits, the goal is always for you to feel comfortable and present. I'll set you up for the best light and help you when needed, but also allow you to be yourselves. Our entire planning process from questionnaires to calls to emails all give me an the clear picture of how you want to spend your day which gives me the knowledge on how to deliver a gallery with artful photographs, AND keep your experience in mind. From embraces amongst grand landscapes to hands holding the details of moss, to you just enjoying your time- it will all be documented so walk away with whimsical photos and memories to last a lifetime.

The experience with me is SO MUCH MORE than location suggestions and it's why I don't just show up to take photos. Locations are a starting point and a crucial one in the process. But helping you come up with additional ways to celebrate and then putting it all together in a timeline that feels relaxed, seamless, and exciting, and also aligns for the best light experience is the most important part. I know how long things take and it's much longer than you think! This expertise of mine, built from countless elopements, is the secret sauce to make it not feel like an all-day photoshoot and more like an experience you want to relive over and over.
